Just a couple of cysts....
CCmakes306-03-2003, 03:27 PMI saw the doctor for my ultrasound results and she said it was just a couple of follicular cysts, one of which is already beginning to resolve, so she recommended a "wait-and-see" approach. She did say, however, that I might have inflammatory bowel disease, and referred me to a GI doctor. I'm not sure if she came to this conclusion based upon something on the ultrasound or just by a description of my symptoms (in addition to pain and bloating, I also have alternating constipation and diarrhea, as well as difficulty urinating). http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/frown.gif
Anyway, I guess I feel better, but I am still wondering: Do repeated benign cysts increase your chances for developing ovarian cancer?
