Jenfoot06-18-2003, 10:22 AMI just had my LEEP done last Friday (Jun 13) and I've been reading that there should be minimal exercise for four weeks, although my doctor never mentioned anything. What does everyone think about doing Pilates after a LEEP? Would this be a risk factor? I am getting married in a couple months so this is why I would like to start back up again.

I had a LEEP a couple of weeks ago, and my doctor did say NO exercise for four weeks. I know how you are feeling...I am getting married in 4 1/2 weeks and I'm going crazy, too!! I would not do Pilates...that requires too much control, etc.
So, when is your wedding? Where are you going on your honeymoon? Are you as stressed out as me? I am going crazy beginning to drive my fiance crazy...Let me know if you are feeling the same and maybe we can share and compare stories! lol

Good to find someone that is going through the exact same thing!! Doesn't it totally suck that you have to go through all this health crap right before your wedding? On one hand it's the most exciting time of your life and on the other hand one of the scariest. When do you go back in for your results?
We are getting married on August 23, I'm assuming yours is on July 12? Getting closer and closer!! Too exciting. We are not sure where we are going on our honeymoon. We are going to wait until about a week before and book wherever there is a good seat sale, that way it will be a surprise to both of us. How about you?

I know what you mean...I am so excited, but so nervous about my health that, at times, it is hard to enjoy all of the excitement. But, I must admit...I am glad that I took care of this issue (LEEP) so it's all taken care of (and hopefully for good!). Our wedding is July 19th so the next time we have sex will be on our honeymoon! How ironic! lol
We are going to Disney World...we got a really good rate with the new Fairytale Package they are offering (7 nights for the price of 4). And with AAA, we got a great deal!
I agree that it feels great to find someone that is going through the same thing and with the wedding! Did you have your shower yet? (that was fun!!!). Where are you from? I am from Massachusetts. I ask that because up here, we have something called a Jack and Jill and that was fun, too!

(Oh, I got my results back and everything looks good. It was high grade, but she (My Dr.) said that she thinks she got it all...they can tell because my "margins" were clear. So technical!
