helping sis cope

I have an older sister of three years and she has had a three pound 7 inch tumor on one of her ovaries, and she had to get that ovary removed so she only has one, now she has a 7 cm tumor on her other ovary and she has the risk of not being able to have kids when she is older. It doesnt SEEM to bother her, but i know it must, and i was just wondering.....how can i approach her about talking about it if she wants to, without upsetting her? I really want to help her.
