MRI's and CAT scans

klayr06-03-2003, 06:18 AMHey everyone. I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about the contrast dye that's used during MRI's? I am allergic to it, so the last time I had one, they didn't administer it. Is the test just as accurate without it, or is it possible that something could get by? I have the same question for CAT scans. If they don't inject you, do they get as detailed a reading?
