I tried this product for three days. It really did curb my appetite, but the negative effects outweighed the positive effects. Be aware, this product is a diuretic. So be prepared to make several trips to the bathroom per day. My biggest probem was the amount of sleep I got per night. The first day I fell asleep at around 4am (had to get up at 7am for work) and on the second day, I fell asleep at 6:30am. I decided to not take any pills over the weekend, and I still had the same problem of not being able to fall asleep. I also started to feel depressed and anxiety. I took one more pill on monday and didn’t fall asleep at all. I stopped taking them after that, but the depression, anxiety and sleeplessness lasted for an extra week. This product is definitely not for me.

It is the last week of January and I have been using Super Slim one capsule a day for a week. I am not experiencing any of the negative reactions some of the individuals have written about, including the dry/cotton mouth. However; I drink plenty of liquids ~ water and green tea mostly.

I have studied herbal remedies for many years now and from those studies I would caution anyone to be careful what you mix with what. I would not take the super slim capsules while taking other herbal remedies or prescriptions until you know what reactions they may have to each other.

I cannot take asprin or ibuprophin as it irritates the stomach lining causing heartburn. I also cannot take glucosamine and chondroitin created from sea shells, as it causes nausea. As a general rule both these products are safe for many individuals.

I have also used Ephedra, which did cause some heart palpitations and dizziness. I am not experiencing these conditions with super slim.

I have researched the Koncing Nut and am not able to find any information using just the name for a search, so I tried Chinese Herbal Medication and found the company that makes the super slim product.

I have lost weight, 7lbs this past week.

My starting weight 3 years ago was 211. That is way too much for a 5 ft. 0" tall female. I began working really hard to lose the weight. I bought an elliptical and even joined Weight Watchers. They worked but I had to put everything into it. I got down to 165 and just hovered. I have been there for about a year now and I really need to get down to 120 at least to be in a healthy weight range. I stayed with family for 2 1/2 months last fall and packed on more weight. I was 172. I found the Japan Linzhi pills and ordered them. I started them a couple days before Thanksgiving and by the beginning of January 09 I was down to 155. Seems hard to get on Amazon all of a sudden but these pomegranate pills seemed similar with the same side effects (thirst and being light headed if you dont drink enough). I have been taking these now for about a week and a half and I weighed in at 151 this morning. You may think "big deal" but I am telling you, I have never been at this low of a weight as an adult. I will continue to take them and plan to finally reach my end goal of 110-120 lbs by this summer. I finally feel that this isn’t so overwhelming knowing there is only 30ish lbs left to go. Much easier to face than the 90 I started with. Good luck to all of you, whatever weight loss method you choose. This just makes it easier for me.

This product made my mouth really dry and that scared me the first day so i took a day off to look the product up. The products webpage […]gave the list of ingredients and i found out that the dry mouth was due to the caffine combined with the kiwi extract.
It’s a shame that the discription on this product does not give a direct link to the products website so people can make a more informed decision as to weather or not they want this product.

For me the few side effects are well worth the extreme weight loss.

I started taking Super Slim on October 23,2008.A friend of a friend was taking them and lost 35lbs quick. So I decided to try because I had some baby weight to lose. I was 180lbs and today December 22, 2008 I am 165. I have tried a lot of diet pills in the past Cortislim, Hydroxycut, Xenadrine, Phentermine, Metabolite etc. For me this has been the best one yet. Completely cuts not only your appetite but also cuts cravings! Big time. I mean any foods that I looked at just didn’t appeal to me. The one side effect that I noticed is blurred vision. Also, when you do finally eat something, you will be in the bathroom within 45 minutes. Lol. I only planned on taking them until I lost all of the baby weight. I am back where I was before the baby so I will try 2 start exercising to maintain. My mom is a health nut and just told me the FDA sent out a warning today on these pills so now I am deciding if I will continue or not…I guess it’s best to make your own decision! Good luck!

I have taken these on and off and they work great. Even through Thanksgiving I didn’t gain any weight back. I have gone a week at a time without taking them and still haven’t gained weight. They do make you feel like crap a lot of the time, but I think it’s worth it! haha. I took the Lida Di— and it worked for a while (same effects of this really), I lost about 10 pounds, but eventually stopped feeling the effects, quit taking them and after a couple months gained 5 pounds back. I have lost that 5 pounds again and maybe a little more, I’m pretty happy where I am, but might go for a few more pounds. I’ve been eating fattening food like crazy when I don’t take these and need to stop, but so far so good, I’m still on my first box and I love it. I don’t believe it’s all natural, but I really don’t care. I usually feel the effects for more than a day, I still need to drink water like crazy even if I haven’t taken them. Definitely drink tons of water, no other way around it, and eat something. Oh yeah, I work out very minimal, usually a couch potato, although I do dance around the house every so often. Even if they don’t work for you, at least you won’t go broke trying them! And I was thinking that maybe the lida and this are made by the same people, very similar effects, just haven’t had these lose theres yet. Happy weight loss!

I never thought i’ll be writing a review but i wanted others to know my experience with this product. A relative of mine purchased this product around labor day( he’s not using anymore) he took this product for 3 months and lost 50lbs. He did explain a few side effects he experienced sometimes feeling a little sick and tired, he also stated to drink lots of water. I just started using this product on the 19th of November and to this date I have lost 10 lbs. The only side effect I have is after I take it my throat gets very dry i get very thirsty but that’s it for me! my sister is taking it also and she has the same side effect getting thirsty. I continue to eat as usual no special diet is needed. But I do get full faster and there are times when I don’t even think about eating it’s like i’m constantly full! I eat about once a day a few snacks here and there and am still losing weight. after reading all the reviews i see that there are mixed results. all i can say is that is is working for me. I’ll be purchasing 2 more months worth which will get me where I want to be. Hope my review helped……

I like other reviewers found this product to curb my appetite and did see results with my weight loss. I was concerned enough to contact the Department of Health regarding the "mystery" ingredient Koncing Nut. Unfortunately, the Department of Health has no control over diet supplements. Prescription drugs yes, but not over the counter diet pills. This product is very similar to the old MetaboLife pills with ephedrine, which has since been banned. I did loose my appetite; I did drop some pounds, which was a plus but… I also experienced dry mouth, major insomnia, light-headedness or brain fog, heart palpitations & severe headaches. I have cut down to only taking these pills on the weekends when I tend to splurge. Still get the symptoms but keep my weight gain on the weekends down. The bottom line on Super Slim Pomegranate Pills is, it really depends on much the user of this product is willing to suffer in order to drop a few pounds and at what cost. Me, I know for a fact it disagrees with my system but continue to use it because it works. If you are having similar symptoms I recommend taking it only on the weekends as well. If you are still worried, try digging a little deeper than I did and find out what exactly is Koncing Nut. My guess, some type of ephedrine. Good Luck!

I have tried so many different diet pills out there and I can honestly say these are the ones that have actually worked. I didn’t expect the results. I have been talking them for about two months now and my weight is 128!!! That is the lowest I have been since I was in high school!!! I don’t exercise and I’m not on any special diet, but with the pills you have more control over your food intake. The only side effects are the dry mouth but completely worth it.

I started taking these pills about 2 weeks ago and i’ve already lost 12lbs. I had no side affects besides dry mouth, but that’s nothing water can’t fix. Drink plenty of water, and you’ll be fine. I would recommend this product to anyone desperate to lose weight.

I would have a big breakfast each morning before 9:00 a.m. and by noon I was hungry again. I love to eat watching late night T.V. Well..well, my son says to me the other day. "Mom, I can’t see TV, why do you always have to block the T.V screen with your big behind". "I AM NOT BIG", I yelled back. I decided to take a look for myself in a fullview mirror. I needed to lose weight now! I did some research and I decided to try this product. For the first week, I ate very little and slept about 3 hours each night. I could not go to sleep! I decided to not take a pill on the weekends. I have lost a few pounds. Guess what! My husband asked me to go out on a date with him.

I know..EVERYONE’S body is different..however let me just state what happened to me and why I would NOT recommend this product and why I would SUGGEST people stop using it.

Like many women, I wanted to loose weight and a friend suggested this product. "It’s all natural and there are no side effects" she kept repeating to me. Fine I said lets give it a try. The first week I was so happy. It was a dream come true lol. Me pushing back plates..having no desire to eat like a pig was something that was unheard of. Seemed like suddenly I dropped 8 lbs and my goal of losing 35 lbs was becoming a reality. I was jogging like crazy..clothes were looser..all in about 7 days . Yes!

Week 2, I am in class( I am an adult)..we are having a discussion and the room appeared to get darker and darker. I was in slloooooow motion which was weird because I was wired with energy the week before. I tried to blame my sinuses because I could not part with these pills lol. They were my answer to being thin! I noticed that I felt real high…no seriously I had a high and that when it was my turn to speak..I could not get it together…never ever had this feeling before so it spooked me…

Even after THAT …I still stuck with my new love. One night…several nights, I noticed my breathing was funny. I do not have asthma or any other respiratory conditions. I took the pills just as the little white paper said..but about every night I had this weird breathing almost like it was trying to stop.

At this point I knew I had to stop. I was heartbroken, but I knew then I had no choice. A pill that makes you almost stop breathing in your sleep can not be good. I have taken diet pills in the past and the common side effects that I had was the jitterness and dizziness..I was able to breath and talk. Then I began to wonder..what would some of the long term effects be if someone continued to take these pills….

Needless to say, my friends who are taking these pills have lost weight and they love them, they pushed past the non breathing the jitters..the almost unconscious state to lose some lbs. As for me…I like breathing so I am going to have to pass on this one and many other diet pills. I also noticed that they are kinda dependant on these pills. They have exceeded the three month usage and I am starting to think that they have adopted a bad habit. When they don’t have a pill they will eat small children if they are near their path. I say all this to say…don’t take them lol One must ask themselves what are the long term effects as well as what is going to happen when you stop.
